Permanent Decidim Fest Committee

Proposed agenda item What is the subject that you propose the Coordination Committee should address?

I propose that the Coordination Committee establish a permanent/ongoing committee for the planning and management of all issues related to Decidim Fest.

Currently the process for planning and managing Decidim Fest has been largely contained within the Technical Office. Opening up the process of planning and managing Decidim Fest to a committee (potentially composed of a rotating group of volunteer members from the Association along with members of the Coordination Committee and the Technical Office) could make the planning of the Fest more transparent and participatory. Also, having an ongoing structure could help provide more consistency in planning year to year and spread out the workload over the calendar.

Intended outcome(s) What, if any, results do you hope for from the Coordination Committee's deliberation?

Establishment of a permanent Decidim Fest Committee with permanent membership from members of the Technical Office and Coordination Committee and an annually rotating group of Association volunteer members. Potentially this could be articulated in an Internal Regulation article.
