Decidim 0.28.0 is here!

The most time and energy-intensive release in Decidim's history is now live. With its new redesign and the improvement of previous features, Decidim 0.28.0 represents a new step towards the commitment of continuously improve the technical layer to make it the best political tool possible. We want to thank our community for imagining, discussing and validating the new Decidim.

Our plans for 2024

Sustainability plan: the compass that will guide the work of the Association in the years to come is the sustainability plan that we have been working on this year. Read the plan here.

Upcoming events: we are preparing many special events and community meetings for 2024. We will soon reveal more information, as well as the details of the next edition of Decidim Fest, which will be held, as usual, in Barcelona.

General call for subsidy applications by the Barcelona City Council

The Barcelona City Council has published its general call for subsidy applications for district and city projects, activities and services for 2024. Among them, there is a call for Democratic Innovation projects on:

• Development and implementation of software or digital infrastructures based on Decidim or other free technologies for the improvement of democratic participation.

• Projects in the framework of the European Capital of Democracy.

• Digital empowerment for democratic participation, defense of digital rights and promotion of free technologies for democratic participation, digital rights and promotion of free technologies for training.

• Research and development projects on democratic innovation and the challenges of the network society.

The application-submission period is from 8 to 25 January inclusive.
