New proposal at Propose new functionalities for Decidim software
Allow admins to see a participant's email from their profile page This feature is building on this one: https://github.com/decidim/decidim/issues/5722 In the following PR (https://github.com/decidim/decidim/pull/5849), the possibility for an admin to see a participant's e-mail has been added to the participants list in the admin panel. I am suggesting to add the exact same button to the profile page of the user, next to the currently existing button to send a private message (see screenshot). This button would trigger the exact same behaviour (popup with a button to "show" the address and would of course log the action in the same way. The reasoning behind this suggestion is that the admin using our platforms often work from the content (proposals, initiatives...) and then might need to contact its author (for clarifications, etc...). When they do so, it is better to give them access to the e-mail in a context-based way rather than forcing them to copy the user's name, going to the admin panel, searching for the right user (potentially mistakenly picking the wrong one) and pressing the button. Finally, I would add that this is C
Import from proposal to budget component loses scope When importing proposals in a budget component, the scope is systematically reset to Global. This is of course very annoying because the scope must then be set manually for each budget and the risk of error during data reentry is big. This bug was reproduced on Decidim Staging.
Extra useless button in the admin page for accountability statuses See attached screenshot, there is a button named "Statuses" which doesn't seem to be of any use next to the title of the block. Reproduced on staging, you can see it on this page for example: http://staging.decidim.codegram.com/admin/participatory_processes/odio-architecto/components/15/manage/statuses
Free textfield in survey disabled when clicking on it on Safari This bug could only be reproduced with Safari on Mac. Chrome and Firefox are unaffected. When answering a question with alternatives (single choice, multiple choice or ranking), if a free text alternative is available, clicking on the textfield will uncheck the box, making it impossible to enter text. This is more annoying than blocking as using TAB or clicking many times will give you the focus and allow you to write text.
