Changes at "Staging Democracy: Legislative Theater Meets Decidim"

This session explores how Legislative theater can be combined with Decidim to co-create policy live in community-centered spaces. We'll share our experiences working with working with both on youth mental health in Manchester and Birmingham; then work towards prototyping creative methodologies to activiate democratic imagination and find the fun in combining Decidim with dramaturgy and theater design.
The objective is to make participation more dynamic and creative using live action methods like theather to produce real results with real data and channel them into actional proposals on Decidim. This is especially relevant as we seek new ways to wake people up and involve communities in democratic processes.
