Posting a comment is very slow

Has anyone else noticed that only recently it takes ages (in computer terms) to post a comment? This seems to apply to the very latest versions of Decidim, I've noticed this in the current development versions as well as Metadecidim. It used to be "lightning" fast compared to the current situation.

I just posted a comment on Metadecidim and timed it took more than 15 seconds for the comment to appear in the UI. This seems wrong, it should be instantly visible or take maximum of 2 seconds.
