Can't delete a proposal

Avatar: AnthonyFO AnthonyFO

Hi,

We are new french users of Decidim for a city gouv in France.

We have little problem : we can't moderate like "delete" a proposal. A citizen have put a proposal that isn't a proposal, but we can't see any button or function where we can delete or "unshow" this proposal.

We need help, please :)

Best regards.

Hi! As you say, a proposal cannot be deleted. This is for the social contract, issue: Transparency, traceability and integrity (https://docs.decidim.org/en/understand/social-contract/). It is something that is in the core of the software and a change is not expected. Another thing is the fact that sometimes the content that users make may go against the terms of use and conditions, they may contain clickbait or other uses that the user had already agreed not to commit. Therefore, if there is a proposal that goes against the terms of conditions and use, it can be reported using the flag. The administrator can hide the proposal if he agrees with a user's complaint. More info: https://docs.decidim.org/en/admin/process_moderations/

Hi,
Thank's @paarals ! You solve the problem. We are in this case : if there is a proposal that goes against the terms of conditions and use, it can be reported using the flag. I do this, so I can hide the proposal which was'nt a proposal.
Thank's a lot !

Hi @anthofo , in addition to what @paarals has said, I would like to add that if the proposal submitted by the user does not meet the conditions of the specific process, but it is not reportable, what you can do is to Reject the proposal explaining that it does not meet the conditions of the process.
