Avatar: Yahyaoui Kaddour Yahyaoui Kaddour

Hi, i am the developper (with a colleague of mine) of a Decidim instance in Algeria sahim.org.
My question is how i could add modules such as blog, polls forms etc to my application.
I just followed the instructions by adding the "decidim-moduleName" to the Gemfile and run "bundle" in the root of my app without success.
Thank you in advnce

Hi @tuxador !
Maybe the place to share the problem with other developers is https://gitter.im/decidim/decidim.
The modules you comment should already be enabled by default. You don't need to add them to the Gemfile.
Can you post there your Decidim installation version and the "without success" part please? what is exactly happening? a crash? you don't see where they appear?

Hi @oliver_valls !
Thank you for your interest and your quick reply, and sorry for my lack of precision.
I meant that even when i run "bundle" i don't see any changes on the dashboard, so how could i add a poll for example? or a blog if there are no menu entry to point out there ?
Sorry for my noob question.

Hi,
it looks like I have a similar problem: my brand new instance does not show "initiatives", or "consultations", and a bunch of features are not available, like "debates", or "meetings" (for those I even get an error message from the server). I tried to manually add gems in my Gemfile but it made no difference. Any idea?

I was too quick: it actually did make a difference, and I now have "initiatives" and other stuff available on my admin dashboard.
