A product approach to Decidim contributions

Avatar: Open Source Politics Open Source Politics

Description: Over the years at Open Source Politics we’ve developed a framework that help us shape our contribution to the Decidim software. Like everyone in the community we started with poorly described meta decidim proposals to fully fletched ones with precise scopes backed by a working document exposing the larger context : user research, KPI monitoring, benchmarks against other platforms, etc.. In this workshop, we want to help participants (people who made a proposal on Meta Decidim or are looking to do so) learn the ropes of the product mindset in order to build more researched feature proposals.

The workshop will go through our whole framework allowing participants to learn the basics of user research, KPI setting, benchmarking, pain point identification, solution brainstorming and prioritization.

Maximum number of participants: 20

Number of people facilitating the workshop: 2

Language of the workshop: English

Logistical needs: Projector, Post-its, Pens

Do you need support to come to Barcelona? Yes
