How to integrate the new opinion survey component with your Decidim site.

Description

The new Decidim opinion survey component developed by the University of Brasília and Pencillabs company, allowed a pioneering use during the participative elaboration of the federal government's plan of culture.

In this section you will learn more details about this case, as well as having the opportunity to practice the integration with the Pushing Together platform, an open-source tool for creating opinion surveys and delivering them across multiple channels. The Pushing Together platform serves as the backend of the Decidim opinion survey component.

The workshop will provide data about the experience of integrating Pushing Together with Decidim for the Brasil Participativo platform. We will also conduct a walkthrough with the attendees to configure their own Decidim site with the opinion survey component enabled.

The practical part of the workshop will focus on testing the integration, either on your own Decidim instance or in a lab environment that we will provide for participants. This hands-on experience will help you understand how to configure and use the opinion survey component in practice. There will also be the opportunity to test the integration with the messaging interface alongside Decidim’s web interface.
