Changes at "Vocdoni secure voting module"

Governance in associations, cooperatives, political parties, and city councils must comply with strict standards to ensure the legitimacy and integrity of voting processes, safeguard voter privacy, and prevent political profiling or bias. Decidim requires the most advanced voting technology to meet these standards, a technology that is decentralized, transparent, and built on cryptographic mechanisms for integrity and privacy.

The Vocdoni Module brings secure, e2e verifiable, and privacy-preserving digital voting to Decidim. It ensures transparency, resistance to coercion, and compliance with democratic principles.

Currently, it enables the creation of straightforward elections and AGMs, but the long-term goal is to support a broader range of use cases through improved UX/UI and deeper Decidim integration, leveraging the protocol’s capacity to handle any voting method securely.
