We believe digital services like Decidim are a new type of public infrastructure that municipalities and other public organizations should learn to build and maintain together collaboratively. As more and more policy is implemented as software, we need to ensure that this code used by public administrations is open, accountable, transparent, and under the control of the governments that implement them. The Foundation for Public Code is helping cities come together around core applications and build the tools and platforms they need for the future using modern development practices and process.
