Scope filter deselection doesn't work

With the scope filter arranged on the left hand side of the assemblies page, a user can select a scope. When a filter is selected for the first time, the matching assemblies are filtered after confirmation, without a user having to perform any further action. More scopes can be added, whereupon complementary matching assemblies are listed again automatically. So far so good.

If a user deselects scope filters, the page with matching assemblies is not reloaded. Even with a browser refresh nothing happens.
