The partial renewal process for Decidim's Coordination Committee has successfully concluded. Thanks to the active participation of our community, we have elected new members who will bring their experience and commitment to continue building this project collectively.
Election Results:
Carla Rocha (19 votes): Professor and software engineer at the University of BrasĂlia. She leads a women-driven free software lab and has promoted Decidimâs adoption in Brazil, fostering inclusion and amplifying diverse voices across Latin America. Her goals include expanding Decidim in the region, promoting inclusive technologies, advancing gender equity in free software, and strengthening the platformâs global governance. Learn more here.
Marta Anducas (15 votes): Professor and leader of a lab focused on inclusion and gender equity. An expert in digital participation technologies, she connects communities' needs with accessible and inclusive solutions. Her goals include strengthening Decidim in Latin America, promoting inclusive technologies for populations with limited connectivity, and ensuring representative governance. Learn more here.
Ben Gansky (13 votes): Artist, researcher, and civic engagement designer based in Minneapolis. He combines art, technology, and democracy to explore the interactions between digital tools and participatory politics. He aims to revitalize the Research Committee, connect Decidim with institutions and funding in the United States, and broaden its global profile, especially in English. Learn more here.
