Propose new functionalities for Decidim software
#DecidimRoadmap Designing Decidim together
Autocomplete for @username mentions
Finished
Being able to mention someone is great for encouraging conversation, but right now it's a little cumbersome to do so.
Either you copy the username, which is not easy because it is a link and you can accidentally click on it, taking you to the profile page, or you write the username manually and you can mistype it.
It would be great to have autocomplete for @usernames mentions.
ps. Does anyone have a special trick to mention other people?

Conversation with Xabier
This would make participant's life really much easier!
Hi @xabier and @carol! From @coditramuntana we find this proposal very interesting and we would like to be the sponsors. We will develop throughout this summer, if you agree :D (We are talking about comments). Tell us if you agree :)
That's great!! All yours then :)
Will you please link the issue here when you open it in github and start working on it? Thanks!
To take into account while implementing this feature : User mention doesn't work always?locale=ca
I think you still can't mention someone who has a space in its user name. I propose we add form validator on the pseudo fields that prevents users from having a space in their pseudo with the right error message when they do.
We have an open issue about this : https://github.com/OpenSourcePolitics/decidim/issues/698
Hi @product, @carol. We've seen that this feature is contemplated in the roadbook of decidim.barcelona, it is? If so, we wait to see if there is any other functionality where coditramunta can collaborate: D
