Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The idea of templates is to be able to apply them in a flexible manner. Currently, there is no import/export functionality for templates, which is annoying when working with multiple instances (i.e. Integration & Production).

    Describe the solution you'd like
The possibility to import and export templates.

    Describe alternatives you've considered
We could treat this in a broader was and enable saving items from components (i.e. a survey) as a template. That way, one could import a process and then save the component. However, for this use case, this is unnecessarily complex.

    Additional context
This idea has already been implemented on some Swiss instances and we would like to ask @product whether we could open a PR for this to the core.

Does this issue could impact on users private data?
    No.

    Funded by
Funded by the Municipality of Köniz (for impulskoeniz.ch)
