Start with a true benchmark of what other platforms offer

My perception is that Decidim was developed based on an excellent vision of what a participatory platform should be in 2016, but without comparing itself to other tools that have been developed in parallel.

After 10 years, there are basic things that Decidim does not do, while others have adapted (localized feedback, more advanced surveys or voting options, dataviz, oral contributions, etc.).

To reflect on the roadmap, we should start with a benchmark of what we need in 2026 and in five years.
