I would like less features to be added, but improve the ability to customize what we have.

Native support for deface gem (or a unified way of doing thing with Deface)
Ensure that all the actions done by the application do emit some kind of "before" & "after" events
Consistent hooks for component lifecycle (remove, copy, etc)
Etc

The CSS and JS should not be added in the same mix.
