Allow participants to select their interests from account settings

Participants currently have no way to indicate their interests directly from their account settings. This limits the platform’s ability to personalise content and interactions based on user preferences.

Describe the solution you'd like

Add a section in the account settings where participants can select their interests. The available interests should be populated from taxonomies created in the admin panel. Participants should be able to update these selections at any time.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Interests could be inferred indirectly from user activity, but this is less accurate and offers no explicit user control. Another option would be to manage interests via custom fields, but this is less flexible and not integrated with taxonomies.

This feature could support personalised recommendations, filtered notifications, or future engagement mechanisms.
