Accurate time setting on phases
Hi,
I need to automatically switch two phases at an accurate time
ex. Phase A start o 22/01/2020 at 12 am
Phase B start on 10/02/2020 at 12 pm
How can I match this two phases? If i set end of Phase A on 09/02/2020 I can't match the timing I want to set.

This is not possible right now. Dates in phases are store without time information.
I suggest you to propose a new feature in https://meta.decidim.org/processes/roadmap/f/122/
or, even better, try to create or ask someone to program the feature for you and make a pull-request to https://github.com/decidim/decidim

Thanks!
So the only solution i have is to switch between this two phases manually. Right?
Yes, but that happens anyway. Phases are not changed automatically as far as I know
So the date also are not usefull? I need always to switch that manually?
In my own decidim platform I have created a voting system with processes and survey components.
The municipality requested accurate deadlines...so the only way to manage and respect this deadlines is manually switch?
At this moment, yes. You need to switch manually, that's because the dates system is pretty flexible, you can overlap dates or even leave them undefined. Again, to discuss this type of feature you should start a debate in the "propose new functionalities" forum.
How this feature will work in all the uses cases is the key here, some people might want to automatically switch dates while others don't. Also how undefined or overlapped dates are handled needs to be discussed here. I think that people like @carol has a say here. Also they can correct me if I am wrong
Ok, thanks a lot!
Hi there! Indeed, @Harmin , having automatic phase switching is something we've talked about sometimes. We have all suffered at times from having to wait until 12 AM to activate a new phase 😅.
But as @microstudi says, it would be great if you submit the proposal (indicating if you have funding to carry it out) and we review it from Product: https://meta.decidim.org/processes/roadmap/f/122/
Thanks!
