How to set the right format on participatory text?
Hi,
The participatory texts component can be used to convert lengthy text documents into various proposals or results.
After several attempts I didn't understand how I have to formatting the text i want to automatically insert in the platform. I know Decidim support only ODT format but with my attempts every line of doc its converted in Proposal.
Thanks

Hi @Harmin, sometimes is really awfull to upload a participatory text.
Some tricks:
1. The participatory text format works with three levels. If we apply to .odt format it would be: Title 1, Title 2 and body text.
2. Title 1 is for large titles without added paragraph (Ex: Statutes). Title 2 is for subtitles (they also have no paragraph) (Ex: Chapter 1: Partner law). The body text would be for text bodies with a title (Ex: Article 1: 1.1 All members have the right to.. ).
3. You must be careful with two things: there are no proposals without titles (that is, we cannot indicate a Title 1 / Title 2 and then add paragraphs). So the proposal will always have title. It depends on the level, it will also have body. When there is the body of the text, you will see that the title renders poorly and will put a number. It must be modified in the same Decidim replace 1 with the title.
I think doing it in markdown is easier.
Hi @paarals , thanks a lot for the hints. Just an idea: a simple template (odt-file with the correct format / style), where you just need to change the content would be extremely helpful. :)
@paraals: Ah, templates already exist - just found them when trying to upload . ;) MS Office Word informed me that it will change the format, hope it works with only office.
Thanks a lot @paarals!
Can someone add a markdown-based table to a process that will be properly rendered?
