Cambios en "The future of Decidim Javascript: beyond Webpacker"

Description:

In 0.25 release Webpacker was introduced in order to modernize the asset pipeline of Decidim, and align it with Rails 6 defaults. Rails community has replaced Webpacker in Rails 7 and has presented different alternatives that integrate with Rails softly.

Webpack was at that time one of the most used Javascript packagers, while now there are faster and simpler alternatives, such as esbuild.

In this workshop, we'll go through all these topics:

- how Webpacker is integrated into Decidim?

- what are the Webpacker alternatives introduced in Rails 7 and how they work?

- how convenient are those alternatives to Decidim?
