Primero fue la plaza. Después, el auzolan. Ahora, el código.
En Euskal Herria, la participación ha cambiado de forma, pero no de fondo. Siempre ha sido nuestra, siempre ha sido colectiva. El auzolan es una institución ancestral vasca basada en la colaboración comunitaria que gestiona los bienes comunales que todavÃa conservamos. Un modelo de acción y propiedad compartida que, hoy más que nunca, necesita de herramientas públicas, abiertas y adaptadas para seguir construyendo futuro.

2/ ParmaPartecipa: Decidim for civic participation in the city of Parma (Italy)

This talk will showcase the use of the Decidim by the Municipality of Parma, a city of approximately 200,000 inh. in northern Italy. The municipality has recently approved a new municipal regulation for participation that integrates the platform ParmaPartecipa ( https://parmapartecipa.comune.parma.it/ ) among its institutional participation mechanisms. The objectives are to share practical insights from Parma’s experience, highlight the platform’s features and their impact, discuss challenges related with the platform governance.

3/Using Decidim in rebuilding a town after a natural disaster

A massive landslide completely obliterated the town of Blatten in the Lötschental Valley in Switzerland at the end of May 2025. The Swiss planning office Planval was mandated to co-design the future of the vally in a participatory process. The Decidim partners Urban Equipe and Octree where asked to aid this process with a digital platform and have done so by donating a Voca.City instance. This presentation focuses on key insights from that process.

5/ Som Enregia: reformulant la participació cooperativa

Som Energia és una cooperativa de gran envergadura. Té una base social à mplia distribuïda per tot el territori peninsular. En part està mobilitzada i però lligada al territori, i necessita prendre part de les decisions de manera horitzontal i democrà tica.
El repte que ha assumit Colectic ha estat el de repensar l'espai de participació digital de la cooperativa per integrar diferents nivells de participació i implicació, i proposar una plataforma que faciliti la interacció entre sòcies i la cooperativa. Simplificar una arquitectura de participació complexa facilitant la navegació. Volem compartir i socialitzar aprenentatges, tant per la part de disseny de participació com la implementació tècnica.
