Cambios en "Lesson Open Government"

Encara no hi ha una única definició acceptada de govern obert, tot i que hi ha moltes característiques en les definicions en evolució. L'OCDE, en el llibre: The Way Forward descriu el govern obert com "La transparència de les accions del govern, l'accessibilitat dels serveis i la informació del govern i la capacitat de resposta del govern per a noves idees, demandes i necessitats"

Els tres principals reptes són:

• Transparència: Que el públic entengui el funcionament del seu govern
• Compromís públic: Que el públic pugui influir en el funcionament del seu govern mitjançant la participació en processos polítics governamentals i en programes de prestació de serveis.
• Rendició de comptes: Que el públic pugui contenir el govern per donar compte de la seva política i el rendiment del servei.

There is not yet a single accepted definition of open government, although there are many features in the evolving definitions. The OECD in the book: The Way Forward describes the open government as "The transparency of government actions, the accessibility of government services and information, and the government's capacity to respond to new ideas, demands and needs "

The three main challenges

• Transparency: Let the public understand the functioning of their
• Public commitment: That the public can influence the functioning of their government through participation in governmental political processes and in service delivery
• Accountability: That the public may hold the government to account for its policy and the performance of the service.
