Changes at "The deliberative wave: where it comes from and how to catch it"

En los últimos años, cogen cada vez más fuerza los procesos deliberativos (puestos en marcha desde gobiernos) que implican a personas elegidas por sorteo entre la ciudadanía para responder a preguntas sobre políticas públicas. En esta charla haremos un repaso de los principales formatos existentes, sus ventajas y limitaciones. Presentaremos ejemplos de procesos en marcha, y daremos alguna clave para llegar a implementar asambleas ciudadanas o jurados ciudadanos en las diferentes escalas territoriales.

In recent years, deliberative processes ( implemented by governments) involving people chosen by sortition from the citizenry to answer questions about public policy have been gaining more and more strength. In this talk we will review the main existing formats, their advantages and limitations. We will present examples of current processes, and give some clues for implementing citizens' assemblies or citizen juries at different territorial scales.
