Changes at "Hierarchy of actions"

Over the past few weeks, we've had some discussions with the redesign team that we want to share with the community.

When we have started to review the detail page of the “Proposals” component, we have realized that we need to establish another hierarchy between the different actions that can be enabled.

We start from the analysis that the current layout of the buttons generates confusion and saturates the interface. Therefore, we think that we have to establish a hierarchy and perhaps rename some of the actions. All this with the aim of simplifying the interface and clarifying what each action is for.

The hypotheses* with which we are working are:

1. That some actions lose weight and move to a more secondary level.
2. Rethink the name of the “endorsements” and change it to a more intuitive one.
3. Remove the counter for the number of "Followers" and rename it, since we have detected that it can be confused with the number of supports and/or adhesions.
4. Separate the “Turn on notifications” action from the “Mark as favorite” action.

*These are hypotheses we are working on and are not definitive. Soon we will share a mockup with the latest advances in the redesign.

Durant les darreres setmanes, amb l’equip de redisseny hem estat abordant alguns debats que volem compartir amb la comunitat. 

Quan hem començat a revisar la pàgina de detall del component de “Propostes” ens hem adonat que necessitem establir una altra jerarquia entre les diferents accions que es poden habilitar. 

Partim de l’anàlisi que l’actual disposició dels botons genera confusió i satura la interfície. Per tant, pensem que cal establir una jerarquia i potser renombrar alguna de les accions.Tot plegat amb l’objectiu de simplificar la interfície i clarificar per a què serveix cada acció.

Les hipòtesis* amb les que estem treballant són:

1. Que algunes accions perdin pes i passin a un pla més secundari. 
2. Repensar el nom de  les adhesions i canviar-lo per un altre més intuïtiu. 
3. Treure el comptador del nombre de  “Seguidors” i renombrar-lo, ja que hem detectat que es pot confondre amb el nombre de suports i/o adhesions.
4. Separar l’acció “Activar notificacions” de “Marcar com a preferit”.

*Aquestes són hipòtesis en les quals estem treballant i no són definitives. Aviat compartirem un mockup amb els darrers avenços del redisseny. 

Durante las últimas semanas, con el equipo de rediseño hemos abordado algunos debates que queremos compartir con la comunidad.

Cuando hemos empezado a revisar la página de detalle del componente de “Propuestas” nos hemos dado cuenta de que necesitamos establecer otra jerarquía entre las diferentes acciones que pueden habilitarse.

Partimos del análisis de que la actual disposición de los botones genera confusión y satura la interfaz. Por tanto, pensamos que hay que establecer una jerarquía y quizás renombrar alguna de las acciones. Todo ello con el objetivo de simplificar la interfaz y clarificar para qué sirve cada acción.

Las hipótesis* con las que estamos trabajando son:

1. Que algunas acciones pierdan peso y pasen a un plano más secundario.
2. Repensar el nombre de las adhesiones y cambiarlo por otro más intuitivo.
3. Quitar el contador del número de “Seguidores” y renombrarlo, ya que hemos detectado que se puede confundir con el número de soportes y/o adhesiones.
4. Separar la acción “Activar notificaciones” de “Marcar como favorito”.

*Estas son hipótesis en las que estamos trabajando y no son definitivas. Pronto compartiremos un mockup con los últimos avances del rediseño.
