Goodbye Decidim Fest 2025

The Decidim Fest has come to an end, and we must say that this has been a truly special edition. We held the General Assembly of the Decidim Association with more participants than in recent years, enjoyed bold debates on digital sovereignty in the fight against authoritarian technologies, and had a great time with the community, the heart of this fantastic initiative.

Catch up on the true highlights of the Fest:

The DPGA Annual Members Meeting

Our dear colleagues Ricardo Poppi and Renato Coral, are representing Decidim at the Digital Public Good Alliance Annual Members Meeting in Brasilia this week. They showcased their experiences with Plataforma de Participación Ciudadana de Uruguay and Brasil Participativo, underlying how they customised the Decidim functionalities and modules.

Build Peace Conference

Nil Homedes has been at the Build Peace Conference, participating in the session “How Do We Use Deliberative tech to Discuss Polarizing Legislative Processes in Democracies?” togehter with Nerima Wako-Ojiwa from Siasa Place. The conversation was very interesting, centered around the challenges of participatory technology, inclusion and citizen empowerment.
