Exactly! I very much like the way in which Github handles this. When you have to list something specific you simply display the search result parametrized. Having a good abstraction of this will help a lot. We currently have 4-5 sub-optimal ways of showing content: search, activity stream, lists, navigator (like proposal navigator), etc.
Uffff yes ! Implementing it like Github search would be brilliant.
