Custom ordering categories, subcategories, debates, projects in the follow-up module and assemblies is quite necessary for certain participatory processes that require a specific order.

hi @jleiva . Thanks for you contribution. How do you suggest this could be done? I recommend you distinguish different item-types per proposal because they might have very different costs and consequences to be discussed. For example right now categories and sub-categories are already ordered alphanumerically, so if you really need a specific order it is sufficient to number the categories and subcategories: 01. First category, 01.2 Second subcategory, etc. Nonetheless I think it is really interesting to consider weighting categories and displaying them in a specific order.

Debates, projects and proposals are different. Also they are continuously created (during the open phases) and require different mechanisms. Proposal SHOULD NOT be ordered by hand, never. Debates maybe, we need to understand use cases. Project (like proposals) should not either.
