    Ref. GDPR20

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

As a verified participant that deleted its account when I try to register again with the same data I can’t do it.

    Describe the solution you’d like
I want to be able to recover my old verification.

    Describe alternatives you’ve considered
To have a manual process made by administrators (like the “Verifications conflict” flow) but we don’t want to make a manual bottleneck on these cases.

    Additional context
We should also explain to the participants that when they delete their account this data will still be available so they can recover and to keep track of their votes and don’t allow “more than one vote per person” kind of attacks.

Does this issue could impact on users private data?
    Yes, it’s about verifications

    Acceptance criteria

    • Given that I’m a participant without a verification
And I go to the “delete my account” page
Then I don’t see any verification message.
    • Given that I’m a participant with a verification
And I go to the “delete my account” page
Then I see a message that says “Some of your verification data will be saved for security. If you create another account and verify again you’ll recover them”.
    • Given that I’m a participant with a verification
      And I delete my account
When I register and verify myself again
Then I see a callout that says “We’ve recovered your old participation data”
And I recover my old participation data (like which proposals I’ve voted)
