Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The current voting system doesn't provide a way to encourage diverse voting across various categories or scopes. It's not about favoritism; it's about highlighting the richness of choices available and making sure they all get a fair share.Describe the solution you'd like
Introduce a system of allocated votes by category or scope. This would be introduced as a rule for budgets at first and for other voting procedures after.Admin Side:
Administrators can enable this feature and designate a specific number of votes for each category. These settings would be customizable, so if there's a maximum number of total votes, any extras can be used wherever the voter wishes.
(see screenshot below)
User side
Users would see a clear, easy-to-understand counter (or progress bar) at the top of the page. This informs them about how many votes they can allocate to each category or scope, and how many are remaining.
(two alternative suggestions for display are in the screenshots below)
Describe alternatives you've considered
Creating separate budgets/votings for every category but that's not really an option.
