Expanding Decidim’s API for Write Operations

Decidim was designed with a modular, API-first philosophy. Currently, the API is strong for reading data but lacks support for writing. Enabling write operations is becoming increasingly important in today’s context of automation and integration with complex digital services. Extending the API to allow secure write access would open the door to richer interoperability, automated workflows, and new participatory tools that strengthen Decidim’s ecosystem
