I want to open a debate we hold long ago regarding the convenience of using Markdown for some content creation in diferent components (mostly Meeting minutes, proposals and debates). It would be very useful to track changes and also to integrate Decidim with other technologies (like Git or etherpads).

I am not sure about the complexities and pros and cons of this proposal, this is why I opened this as a Debate. I like the way this is implemented on Wordpress, where authors can choose to edit content: a) directly in html, b) through a rich text editor and c) using markdown. But there are non-trivial complexities, specially on changing from one mode to the other. Maybe this could be an admin option and once the option is selected users cannot switch between edition modes.
