October news: 10 days for Decidim Fest 2022 and +Biennial / version 0.27

Only 10 days left until Decidim Fest 2022 starts! Don't forget to register here.

This year the Decidim Fest will be held on October 13 and 14 and will be integrated into the programming of the Biennal de Pensament within the activities of +Biennal. The venue will be the Canòdrom - Ateneu d'Innovació Digital i Democràtica, an open public and community facility specialized in critical technology, participatory democracy and digital culture. From there and under the slogan "The Future of the Internet", we will try to find joint answers to urgent issues such as the sustainability of democratic technologies, the regulation of the Internet, strategies against disinformation and the urgency of deprivatization and democratization of the network.

We will also engage in an open dialogue to learn about the participation models of New York City, Brussels, Monterrey, Kakogawa and Barcelona, their experience with Decidim and their future challenges to strengthen the possibilities of citizen participation in public affairs.

☝️The workshops are almost full, so we will soon open a waiting list for interested parties. We ask those who cannot come to free up their place by writing an email to fest@decidim.org 

+Biennial

During the same week the Canòdrom will host part of the Biennal de Pensament, on Tuesday 11th and Wednesday the 12th, with the following talks and the participation of good friends of Decidim Fest such as Karma Peiró, Thais Ruiz de Alda, Simona Levi, Elisabet Roselló and Josep Perelló:
