Metadecidim Reloaded ⚡️

Since its launch, Metadecidim has been evolving, and has gone from being an experimental instance and mainly intended for dogfooding, to having its own entity, consolidating itself as the reference space for the Decidim community and its Association.
Although it is important that we continue "eating our own dogfood", we saw that it was necessary to reorganize the structure of Metadecidim and integrate it with other channels we use. This will make the way we organize ourselves more understandable to people who are approaching the community for the first time, and will allow us to reactivate discussions, working groups and more horizontal dynamics to people who have been part of it for a long time.
We've been working with great excitement to present this proposal at our annual meeting point, the Decidim Fest! Like everything in Decidim, it is a first iteration, and we count on your feedback to keep improving it 😊.
Whether you're new around here or not, we recommend you start by taking the tour through the new Metadecidim 🚂! Leave us a comment below telling us your overall impression, and if there's anything you'd change. For sure, we've left out a lot of things, especially when translating in 3 languages, so typo warnings are welcome too!

Thanks for commenting ❤️ We were saying with @Pops that it is probably better to keep access to Home in the top menu. And the plan is to group the Meetings (/meetings) and the Fest (/conferences) under the "Meetings" menu. You can see this in the first version we worked on (https://design.penpot.app/#/view/4b585170-3bfc-11ed-a5c2-cf2300df1f4f?page-id=4b585171-3bfc-11ed-a5c2-cf2300df1f4f§ion=interactions&index=3&share-id=021cca90-416f-11ed-869b-c67f7655c7b3). Would you change anything else?
Pleasure ! From my experience, clicking on the platform logo (meta decidim) to link back to Home is intuitive and sufficient.
Regarding grouping of Conferences + Meetings > Meetings seems fine, but for simplicity & clarity I'd rather use the generic term "Events" instead of "meetings" in the subnavigation.
On the homepage, I'd also simplify the 3 calls to action (less is more ;) (or find a way to make them stand on one line, more inviting, less verbal)
- Start here if you are visiting us for the first time > First time here?
- Take part in the open processes > Participate in the community
- Stay up to date with the latest news > latest news
I'd stay attentive to how these call to actions are used, perhaps they are all useful, perhaps not (I wonder if latest news is really useful).

And good idea to rename the menu to Events, we'll do it when we make the change to include Conferences.
Actually this idea of the 3 CTAs came up these days, as some people commented that they had not even noticed the change in the top menu 😬 (and if you access from a mobile it is directly invisible). So this is a first version, to be improved with other ideas. We could definitely use the help of the community designers, specially with the graphic design!
