When geocoding is activated, the user could have an alternative way to enter address positioning the cursor on the map.
UX details :
In the complete proposal stage when creating a proposal the user could click on a button to position cursor on the map which open a model with a map on which the user could navigate to position pin and validate.
The development of this proposal has finished

@carol @xabier a client is asking us to code something like this we'd appreciate your feedback before making the quotation which is due by next week.
Hey Virgile, I guess this is the same as what it says on the roadmap you shared ("Allow users to submit a proposal / choose a location for their proposal by placing a point directly on the map"), right?
We have been reviewing the list today and it is an interesting feature, although it would not be a priority for Barcelona City Council. But it's a good proposal if you guys want to develop it.
Yes, it's the same need. One of our client is willing to invest to develop it, we still need to evaluate the costs. Will let you know if it's happening :)
@carol la Metropole Européenne de Lille is financing this if you wanna update the status.

It's done you can have a sneak peak on our demo, but needs to be ported as a module : https://demo.decidim.opensourcepolitics.eu/processes/modules-decidim/f/2/proposals/137/edit_draft?component_id=2&question_slug=modules-decidim (the last steps crashes but you'll get the idea)
