We also got another request asking whether the footer navigation could be separately configured from the top navigation and the "More information" page.
I suggest that we could create multiple different "navigation trees" in the admin panel allowing the implementation of these types of requests. It should be possible to link to the same page from multiple different navigations.
The navigation trees should be tree structures allowing navigation items to have a parent element. This would help creating multi-level navigation structures (e.g. dropdown navigations).
