Propose new functionalities for Decidim software
#DecidimRoadmap Designing Decidim together
Create statistic blocks for petitions
Evaluating
No KPI is generated for petitions.
Should be compiled :
- Number (#) of petitions published
--- # of petitions accepted (threshold met)
--- # of petitions rejected (threshold no met)
- # of signatures
This should be compiled for both stats blocks that can be activated for home page :
- Current state of [Org name]
- Metrics

Hi @Pops and @virgile_deville, do you have any mockup for this? Certainly the "Current Status" block was not designed to accommodate that many numbers. In fact there are some that are much more irrelevant than others, and others that are important such as initiatives or number of supports that do not currently appear. My proposal: https://imgur.com/4XW4JYD -> Keep the most important indicators and reduce the "number salad". But ideas on how to redesign this block are welcome!

I think both of your mockups are really interesting! I created a mockup based on the classification made by @josanFFiG : https://imgur.com/tjhxXM7
Tell me what you think about it @carol @josanFFiG and @virgile_deville !
Of course, only the participatory spaces and components that are used on the platform should appear.
I'm not so sure about the interest of displaying the first row of home-pam__lowlight (Sortitions, posts & surveys) as Carol said, but I built my mockup so it would be as complete as possible.
I like how you structures it but the numbers salad gigantic on your mockup. Maybe we should work on a see more option ? Like I display at max 6 figures if I click on see more I display the whole thing ?

@carol @Pops something like this where all stats are blocks (I find it weird to have this line display bellow) and per default we display only four and have see more button to display all of them. Mockup --> https://imgur.com/Fs7k0iT
I like this ! But may be admins should also be allowed to choose how many blocks they want to be displayed by default (as for Highlighted processes & assemblies) : 4, 8 or 12 ?
Save it for the next iteration :)
Let's make the default number of blocks 6 just to be sure.
I like the "see more" option! So, just to recap, the final version would be: https://imgur.com/Fs7k0iT?
Yes !
ok, so to avoid any confusion, when you click "see more" you will see this: https://imgur.com/4XW4JYD
@carol no more like this https://imgur.com/rBHKWJI
so that we avoid building a hierarchy on metrics (highlight vs lowlight) as all of them are important
mmh Í'm not convinced, but for me the solution . it doesn't make sense for me to show all those statistics that way. Surely the best solution is to rethink the design of this block with more time and resources.
I prefer the option I linked to in the previous comment. What do you think @product?
btw @virgile_deville , number of supports are currently missing from the Statistics block. Are you planning to include them since you are modifying this?
> all of them are important
"If everything is important then nothing is". I think we really need this hierarchy to reduce the cognitive load.
Also for me it's crucial that this get shown after clicking on the "view more" button.
Alright ! Thanks for the feedback :)
Pauline and I are working on a revamp of this section. We'll be working on a four column layout based on the latest statistics sections of participatory spaces : https://imgur.com/sgygmuo
We'll also propose a hierarchy of the stats to reflect feedback. we've had from users and clients. we'll post it here as soon as done.

Hi everyone!
With virgile we tried to revamp the stats block based on the PP statistics, adding a "See more" option to display at first only the stats that seems the most important for us ( @carol what do you tkink about this hierarchy ?).
Please note that the statistics block displayed in this mockup (https://imgur.com/ejSGLQc) include almost all the stats of the platform. We only added Budgets votes & Supports.
In allmost all of the platforms we know, just half of the participatory spaces & components displayed here are used, so the hypothesis of a complete stat block is very unlikely.
When some of those component/spaces/actions are not used, the block components move to the left and upward.
@carol are we good with this feature ?
yes! we'll ask @htmlboy for feedback, but we're good with Pauline's mockup
