We have some components that should be visible by link only. Decidim already has a feature enabling link sharing of components, however these tokens currently have restrictions:

    1. They are only valid for 24 hours, after which a new token has to be generated. This makes it good for quick reviews (e.g. with project partners) but not for larger scales.
    2. They are not public, meaning you need to be registered (however not necessarily have backend access) to open the link.

    Describe the solution you'd like
We would like to expand the functionality of the URL token with two features:

    1. Being able to set a date/time per token of how long the URL is valid (or setting it to indefinite).
    2. Toggle button to enable unregistered users to see the page.

    Describe alternatives you've considered
We have already taken a look at expanding private processes. However, expanding the URL sharing seems simpler.

    Additional context
The principle should be known from file-sharing services like Google Drive or Dropbox.

As a long-term thought, we could also imagine entire participatory spaces being shared like this.

Does this issue could impact on users private data?
Non known issues as of yet.
