How to daemonize the server in docker? Hi thereFInally we got our decidm platform working: http://decidelisboa.org/I read your instructions but I am totally newby in ruby on rails or docker containerI could install using gem so I installed with dockerNow to start the server I use within the folderb/rails server --binding=0.0.0.0Without that binding option you don't have access to the port 3000 outside of the containerHow do you recommend me then to use this server as daemon, because b/rails server --binding=0.0.0.0 -ddoes not workThank you
Decide when to publish a meeting Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. When creating a meeting on an already published meeting component the meeting gets published directlty and users get notified instantly. This is problematic because it's only after publishing my event that I can add registration modalities, agenda etc.Because of this users who check out the notification right away see a meeting page that is unfinished. Describe the solution you'd like I'd like to be able to choose when I publish my meeting. In order to do that we propose to add a "publish" action on the meetings list in admin. New debate at SOM Metadecidim
What topics should we address in the 19th SOM meeting? We are opening this space to collect proposals on priority topics that should be addressed in the following community meetings. The most voted ones will be taken into account.
Allow testing surveys prior publication Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. When creating surveys, specially the complicated ones, sometimes is hard to predict if the resulting data will be in the most adequate format. This is specially important as currently the only way to download results from a survey is to export them in a CSV (or json, but most admins don't know how to use this format).Describe the solution you'd like We would like to be able to test a survey in a participatory space before it gets publicated. The admin could access the final page, answer the survey and then export the data without publicating the component. After realizing that the survey is optimum, the publication of the component will destroy the test data. Further unpublishing/publishing action won't destroy any data, only after the very first publication (maybe event optionally if necessary). Describe alternatives you've consideredTo use an alternative secrete participatory space with the same survey, but that would duplicate the administrator's work.Additional contextN/A Does this issue could impact on users private data? Templates for surveys Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. It is usually very time consuming to create surveys. Also, many surveys are just the same as others previously created with slightly different changes. Describe the solution you'd like It would be nice to have a pool of templates that administrators can save and reuse between different participatory spaces in order to bootstrap new surveys easily. This feature would create a new system-wide "forms/survey templates" resource available for final admins only (not admins in specific participatory spaces) as a new main item in the admin menu. With this, they could create/edit/remove surveys as templates. Then any other admin creating a survey would have access to choose one of this templates when creating a new survey. The survey generated could still be modified if necessary prior publication. While creating templates the admin would be able to preview the final looks of the survey, even without the context of the participatory space (just the survey).Describe alternatives you've considered Just to allow to copy from other spaces their surveys, but this lacks centralization in the management of site-wide pre-designed surveys to allow secondary-admins to use without having to create it themselves. Additional context This feature is focused in the creation of templates for survey but this could be used in the future for more types of templates (even whole participation processes scaffolding). Does this issue could impact on users private data? No. This is and admin feature, no changes in public data treatment. Funded by Generalitat Catalunya
Disable accountability automated progress caluclations **Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.**Currently the accountability module calculates the progress percentage of the parent project when a child project is updated. The percentage is calculated according to this functionality:https://github.com/decidim/decidim/blob/5f382c71d9a96fe2c5599024957cf91ba0f80c40/decidim-accountability/app/models/decidim/accountability/result.rb#L54-L58This is not always desired. Sometimes the content managers want to keep a separate progress percentage on the "parent" project and separate progress on all of its children. An example situation is a case where you have main project that has been updated regularly until a point. After this point, a new child project is added which will have 0% progress when it starts. Now in this situation, the parent progress should still be 25%, although the child progress is 0% for the only child.**Describe the solution you'd like**I'd like to have an extra configuration on the accountability component that would allow disabling the automatic progress calculation for the parent projects.**Describe alternatives you've considered**Currently it is possible to accomplish this from the UI but it is a bit clunky. After every time the content managers will update the sub-project, they will have to remember to go to the parent project editing view and update its progress back to the original value. This is, however, a bit complicated and not very intuitive.**Additional context**N/A**Does this issue could impact on users private data?**No.**Funded by**So far only reported.
Add answer options to initiatives Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. When answering to initiatives, admins don't have the possibility to add a tag to the initiatives that will be displayed in FO. This possibility exists for Proposals. The admin can tag the proposal with "Accepted", "Rejected" or "Evaluating". Then the user can filter proposal index by state. Describe the solution you'd like As an admin, I want to be able to add answer tags to initiatives like for Proposals. I also want to be able to select an answer date so the user knows when the decision has been taken (by the municipality, the organisation, ...). When the initiative has been answered with "Accepted" or "Evaluating", the initiative behavior doesn't change. When the initiative has been answered with "Rejected", the initiative cannot receive signatures anymore. The answer block in FO should display the answer date, and should take the org colors : (Rejected = Alert color, Evaluating = Warning color, Accepted = Success color).Send a notification "notify_state_change" for those newly created states for authors, promoter committee members and admins. Add reset search buttons to search forms **Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.**Decidim implements multiple search forms. There is no easy way to reset the search criteria back to defaults if you don't know how to browse to the same page again.**Describe the solution you'd like**I suggest adding a "Reset search" button to all search forms.**Describe alternatives you've considered**Browsing back to the same page using navigation but this is not very intuitive given the extremely complex navigational structure of Decidim.**Additional context**This is an issue that would also improve the accessibility of the system. I understand it is not required to pass accessibility reviews but it would improve accessibility. **Does this issue could impact on users private data?**No. **Funded by**N/A
Initiatives thresholds configuration Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.Initiatives can be accepted or rejected at the end of signature collection period when they succeeded or failed to reach the support required threshold. It would be interesting to be able to implement different behaviors for milestones leading up to that that signature threshold (like for PP steps).Three milestones already exist per default : 25%, 50% and 75% of the signatures required. When reached, a notification is sent. These are configured directly in the code and do not a have corresponding UI in the admin so that we have flexibility to configure it.Describe the solution you'd likeAs an admin, I want to be able to configure different milestones when configuring an initiative type scope. As an admin I want to have a config flag that will make the jauge to be responsive to the milestones.Ex : if milestones are configured as : Milestone 1 = 20% (10K signatures) and Milestone 2 = 100% (50K signatures). Then at first I want the jauge to display 10k when passed it can display the next milestone 50k.Back-Office/admin/initiatives_types/1/editConfigurable milestones[ ] Add config flag that allows admin to config milestone percentage[ ] when clicked default milestones in editable fields that way the admin can set its own percentage[ ] allow admin to delete a milestone[ ] add a button "Add milestone" to allow admin to add a milestone[ ] When all milestones have been removed, the default milestones don't apply[ ] When the custom milestones percentages are disabled, the default milestones applyAdaptable jauges[ ] Add a config flag so that the admin can choose if wants its jauge to be adaptable to milestonesFront-Office/initiatives : Change the initiative card gauge when threshold is reachedSHOW : /initiatives/i-1 : Change the initiative show gauge when threshold is reached Describe alternatives you've consideredNone Does this issue could impact on users private data?
