Changes at "How can we improve deliberation in Decidim?"

Deliberation in Decidim is everywhere. Thanks, in part, to the fact that comments are enabled by default in most components. The Redesign and Product team have been thinking about how we can improve the comments and the Debats component to deepen the deliberative power of Decidm.

We open this discussion to find out the community's opinion on how we could improve deliberation on the platform, following the thread of some discussions that have already taken place in MetaDecidim as a result of proposals for new features.

This debate is a previous discussion to the LAB on Decidim and Deliberation that will take place next Friday, June 3, in Barcelona. Soon we will share a new prototype with relevant advances in the redesign. Stay tuned!

• What use cases are useful to think about how to improve Debates? What other platforms can serve as an inspiring example?
• What new features should the Debates component incorporate and why? How do we deal with the polarization that can occur in this type of space?
• Can we imagine Decidim as a space to have a global conversation? What needs to improve to get to this stage?
